                            Docol® 1500M

                            The material of choice for side impact beams, bumpers and structural components.

                            Docol® is one of the strongest cold-rolled advanced high-strength steels on the market and has become the material of choice for many automotive applications. This material can also contribute to safety in electric vehicles by offering battery protection. Docol® 1500 M can be delivered as electro galvanized and is designed to meet with VDA 239-100:2016.

                            We supply many steel grades according to standards like EN, VDA and different OEM standards. If you don't find a specific standard in the table below, please contact your nearest SSAB representative for more detailed information.

                            Dimension Range

                            Cold rolled / UC:  thickness 0.50-2.10 mm, width up to 1527 mm.

                            Cold rolled / EG: thickness 0.80-2.00 mm, width up to 1300 mm.

                            Slit strip and cut to length sheets are available upon request.
